ABOUT the AUTHOR

I grew up on my parents cassettes of Les Misèrables and Phantom. When I was three my mom couldn't get me to stop singing songs from the Lion King.  I watched our bootleg VHS of Cinderella (the one with Brandy) so many times that it broke. I finally realized that Broadway was my calling when I was 13 and my friend Paige gave me a copy of the Wicked cast album. Since then I've been seeking out great community theater, obsessing over Tony nominations, and ugly crying every time I watch West Side Story. My dream is to write shows and give back to the community that has given me so much.
